About Tektite
Tektite is a naturally occurring glassy meteorite impact stone, formed when a meteor strikes Earth with enough heat and force to melt terrestrial rock. This molten material is thrown into the atmosphere, cools rapidly, and falls back to Earth as black or dark-coloured glass.
