Crystal Knowledge - Strawberry Quartz

About Strawberry Quartz

Strawberry Quartz is a beautiful and intriguing variety of Quartz (SiO₂) that features pink to reddish inclusions, often made up of iron oxide, lepidocrocite, or goethite, which give it a soft blush or berry-like appearance. Though it shares a base composition with Clear Quartz, these inclusions create a gentle sparkle and a warm, nurturing energy.

It’s often confused with Rose Quartz, but Strawberry Quartz tends to have a more speckled, iridescent or seed-like internal pattern and a deeper pink to red tone. Significant sources include Mexico, Russia, and Kazakhstan, with smaller deposits found in Madagascar, Brazil, and the United States.
