The Epipremnum aureum is a species of flowering plant in the family of Araceae and is native to French Polynesia. This plant has a multitude of common names, Golden Pothos, Pothos or Devil's Ivy.
The Devil's Ivy is an evergreen vine that can grow over 1mtr tall and can climb by means of aerial roots which adhere to surfaces. The leaves are variegated green and yellow and are alternate, heart-shaped, entire on juvenile plants, but irregularly pinnatified on mature plants.
Because of the hardiness and low maintenance this makes it a popular choice for beginner gardeners.
Size: The Epipremnum aureum, or Devil's Ivy, has beautiful green/green and yellow leaves that are typically approximately 4-6cm across, although they can grow much larger outdoors, growing along a long vine stem.
Lighting: The Devils' Ivy grows well in bright, indirect sunlight but will also tolerate low light conditions.
Watering: Devil's Ivy is drought tolerant and doesn't require a lot of water. Allow the top layer of soil to dry between waterings.
